The Epson 9345 Maintenance Chip (C9345 Chip) is a small electronic IC chip attached to the maintenance box that monitors and controls the waste ink counter. It records the amount of ink collected during printhead cleaning cycles and communicates with the printer to stop operation when the limit is reached. Replacing or resetting the chip allows the printer to resume working.
